Building on the success of the 2009 Geodomain Expo® in San Diego,
Associated Cities has selected New Orleans as the site of the 2010 Geodomain Expo. The industry conference and trade event will take place from Wednesday, April 28 through Friday, April 30, 2010,coinciding with the 40th anniversary New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
“Obviously New Orleans is one of the greatest cities in which to stage a convention. Not only will the sessions be top flight and useful, but the music, food and entertainment will make this a memorable and enjoyable experience for anyone who joins us,” said Dan Pulcrano, interim Chairman of Associated Geos and the CEO of Boulevards network of city sites, a member company of Associated Cities.

Even though the Expo came together in a few weeks, attendance was high. This year attendees can expect an even better program, with even better content than any of our previous conferences have had,” Metnick added.

The Geodomain Expo offers opportunities for operators of local- and destination-focused geo websites to share information, exchange best practices, learn about industry trends, meet vendors and form friendships with other operators. The program will include speakers and panels related to the business of operating geodomains, as well as social and networking events, a trade show and opportunities to purchase and invest in geodomain properties.
